“PEOPLE”

The words and letters in this mural are painted like the streets and freeway junctions of our City of Angels. The colors in between each thick stroke are depictions of the many diverse groups, ethnicities, religions and neighborhoods we have here in Los Angeles- from Little Tokyo, East LA, Lincoln Heights, and South Central to Hollywood and the likes. This mural represents the melting pot of a large group of people who have migrated here, uplifting our city through cross-culturalism. The vibrant colors chosen highlight the lively and robust population of people living together, symbolized through the intersecting freeways and roads heading in all different directions.
