Publicly displayed for viewing through December 2021.
STATE OF THE WORLD is a temporary outdoor mural exhibition organized in collaboration with Art At The Rendon and SO|DA Architecture, both based in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District. Historically, the building housed the Farmers and Merchants National Bank and will soon be restored, structurally retrofitted and turned into a restaurant.
We have featured eleven Los Angeles-based artists who have historically painted on the building, as well as current artists who are connected to the Arts District. STATE OF THE WORLD provides a platform for artists to raise awareness for social causes that are important to them and relevant to today’s environment.
